Warranties, maintenance and support for your solar installation

Your installation combines several pieces of equipment and installation work. Coverage is detailed in your quote, along with documents to keep and after-sales service arrangements.

Three types of coverage to look for in your proposal

ComponentWhat to identifyUseful document
PanelsProduct warranty, any performance warranty, manufacturer conditions and exclusions.Technical data sheet and warranty certificate for the selected modules.
InverterDuration, equipment coverage and repair or replacement terms.Model reference, serial number and manufacturer conditions.
InstallationScope of installation work and conditions for visits after commissioning.Quote, invoice and handover documents.

Durations depend on the equipment and services selected. Your quote states the references and terms applicable to your project. Any optional warranty extensions are shown separately.

Product warranty and performance warranty

The product warranty covers equipment under the manufacturer's conditions. A performance warranty describes a module's power level over time under defined conditions. Your rooftop system's generation also depends on sunlight, layout and operation.

Keep the panel and inverter references together with the installation documents to compare your project. This traceability makes post-commissioning support easier.

What is monitored during operation

  • Generation: checking readings or the monitoring interface, where fitted.
  • Module condition: dirt, new shading and visual observations reported to the team.
  • Electrical equipment: checks arranged according to recommendations and the selected contract.
  • Mounting structure: checking fixings and the visible condition of supports during visits.

Cleaning and maintenance frequency depends on the site: dust, surroundings, roof access and agricultural or industrial environment. We specify services and frequency in the maintenance proposal.

Contact after-sales support with the useful details

Provide your name, installation location, inverter model and what you have noticed. An error message, start date or generation reading helps guide diagnosis.

Plan ongoing support at the quote stage

Ask for clear warranties, maintenance services, travel conditions and handover documents. This gives you a complete view of the initial cost and ongoing support for your installation.

Ask a question about my project
What warranties and maintenance are available?

Modules, inverter and workmanship have separate warranties, specified in your quote according to the selected equipment. We provide local after-sales service and offer a maintenance contract.

What happens at night or without sunshine?

The STEG grid takes over. Self-consumption complements the grid; it does not disconnect you from it.
