Solar panel prices in Tunisia: plan your budget

Your quote includes equipment, mounting structure, installation and procedures. Pricing starts with your consumption and the building's characteristics.

Indicative average solar panel prices in Tunisia

For a residential budget, allow around 7 815 DT for 2 kWc, 9 908 DT for 3 kWc or 15 208 DT for 5 kWc, including tax before subsidies. These benchmarks come from two public commercial price lists consulted on 30 October 2026. Your Tunisie PV quote specifies equipment, installation and roof adaptations.

Method: average of the midpoint of the BADA IT range and the Green Elec price, rounded to the dinar. Values before rounding: 7 815 DT, 9 907,500 DT and 15 207,500 DT. This small sample is neither a statistical average of the entire market nor a firm Tunisie PV offer. Equipment and site conditions may differ.

Compare total cost and financing

Any subsidy, financed amount, deposit and instalments are shown separately. Batteries, solar trackers, roofing work or special connections require separate pricing. A factory, pumping system or 1 MWc power plant needs a dedicated budget study.

Price sources: BADA IT price list, updated 17 September 2026 and Green Elec price list. Subsidy and financing conditions are checked separately with the relevant bodies.

The items in your solar quote

A complete proposal explains what will be fitted to your roof and what is included through to commissioning. Quantities, equipment models and services are detailed for your project.

Capacity that matches your needs

Annual consumption, daytime usage and planned building changes guide the choice of capacity. Usable roof area and shading complete the assessment. Panel count then depends on the unit capacity of the selected modules.

For a home, we review bills and seasonal usage in particular. For a business, operating hours and the consumption profile are key. Agricultural pumping also requires a study of flow rate and pumping head.

Prepare to size your installation.

Project price and financing

The total installation price, financed portion and repayment schedule are presented separately. TunisiePV offers zero-down-payment financing for up to 7 years through your STEG bill, subject to eligibility and application approval.

Your proposal specifies: the installation cost, included items, any adaptations, selected financing and instalments. The applicable subsidy amount is checked when the application is prepared.

What to plan for depending on your roof

The assessment identifies adaptations needed before installation: access, condition of the supporting structure, cable routes and equipment locations. Any additional work is described in the proposal, with its scope.

Equipment warranties and post-commissioning support complement the initial budget. If you want scheduled maintenance, request details of the maintenance contract and included visits.

Prices and budget: your questions

Financing, generation, procedures: prepare your installation with the essential information.

Ask a question about my project
How much does an installation cost?

The budget depends on the equipment, capacity and installation conditions. Your free quote details the equipment, installation, procedures and selected financing terms.

Can I qualify for a PROSOL ELEC loan?

Yes, subject to conditions: the PROSOL ELEC programme (ANME / STEG) combines a grant with a loan repaid through your STEG bill. Rates are revised periodically; the amount depends on your profile and is confirmed when you apply — we handle this with you.

How long is the payback period?

That depends on your consumption, the kWh price you pay and your self-consumption rate. We calculate your estimated payback period in your personalised quotation.
