Add your STEG bill
Your daily life. Your solar system.
Add your appliances and adjust their usage. You will see the solar capacity to consider for your project.
Understand the calculation in 30 seconds
Power and usage time determine how much energy is consumed. The suggested values are assumptions you can adjust. For a refrigerator, the hours refer to compressor running time; for air conditioning, consumption varies with the model and temperature.
Solar capacity in kWc is then calculated using annual consumption and the expected solar yield in your region. Backup power during an outage requires an additional assessment of the battery, inverter and circuits to be supplied.
You can attach a bill to refine this initial estimate.
Keep the essentials running.
Choose the appliances you want to power during a cut. Adjust the values if you know your equipment’s specifications.
Understand backup runtime in 30 seconds
The more appliances you power, the faster your stored energy runs out. Air conditioners and machines may also need a surge of power when starting. The calculation assumes a power cut with no solar recharging or generator.
For cooling appliances, the operating percentage is the share of time the compressor runs. The suggested values are assumptions: heat, the model and door openings can change them. ‘9,000 BTU’ describes the air conditioner’s cooling capacity, not its electricity consumption.

Check the electricity consumption line. A meter reading is not consumption; thermies refer to gas.
The assessment estimates a generation and revenue scenario. Land, connection, permits and financing are studied before construction. The latest identified call closed on 30 June 2026: we check the framework available for your project.

How long could they keep running?
Same appliances, same starting charge. Estimated runtime without recharging.
The bar shows the central estimate. The range includes a scenario with 20% less available energy; it is neither a guarantee nor a statistical interval.
The inverter, battery, protection devices and circuits must support operation during a power cut. Starting power, surge duration and the electrical connection will be checked during the assessment.
Gel or lithium: understand the differences
The gel lead-acid scenario keeps a minimum reserve of 50% and adjusts capacity for the discharge current using a reference C20 curve. A battery rated at C100 or a different model requires its own data.
The lithium LiFePO4 scenario keeps a minimum reserve of 20%. Reference current limits come from the Dyness DL5.0C; the model ultimately offered must be checked separately. The battery management system (BMS), temperature and battery condition may limit power.
Compare performance and service life using the datasheets and warranties of the models offered, not just the technology name.
Sources, prices and assumptions
Public prices recorded on 4 November 2026: 5.12 kWh lithium batteries alone, from 4,950 to 6,500 DT including tax. Two different models; availability must be confirmed. These are not TunisiePV quotes. The gel battery price still needs to be entered or quoted.
The installed budget is only calculated if you enter the additional cost for the inverter, protection and installation. This tool applies no subsidy or PROSOL funding to batteries.
Average loads are used to calculate energy needs; operating and starting power are used to check power limits. The surge check adds up the starting power of all selected appliances. Our team can assess staggered startup. The range does not cover every real-world condition; even a brief power cut can interrupt a device that requires an uninterrupted supply.

At equal capacity, using the same regional weather data. These simulations help select configurations for further study.
A tracker can increase generation. Its profitability also depends on extra cost, land footprint, wind, shading between rows, maintenance and possible downtime. An east/west layout may better match certain consumption schedules, even with fewer annual kWh.
We help prepare and present your technical and financial application to the relevant bodies. Approval and terms depend on their assessment.
Compare cash, bank loan and leasing
Enter the terms of an offer you have received or test a scenario. No financial assistance is deducted automatically. The chart keeps your entered rates and charges constant and applies the production decline and equipment replacement you specified. Taxes and discounting are excluded.
For leasing, use a consistent tax-exclusive or tax-inclusive basis for cost, lease payments, expenses and savings. Review recoverable VAT and tax effects with your accountant. A separate first lease payment must not be counted again in the instalments.
The team tells you which documents are needed at each stage. Banking and identity documents are requested when preparing the application, depending on the selected provider.

PVGIS 5.3 / SARAH3 benchmarks calculated on 30 October 2026, entered system losses 14 %, crystalline silicon technology, ventilated mounting. Selected configuration: fixed according to orientation and angle, or solar tracking. The regional benchmark does not replace a site study. Model losses are not deducted a second time.
Residential prices use a small sample of public price lists: an average of two lists at 2, 3 and 5 kWc; a single reference at 8 and 10 kWc; interpolation between these points. These are not Tunisie PV quotes. Above 10 kWc, and for pumping or trackers, a specific budget is needed.
Any simple payback period excludes taxation, financing, equipment replacement, degradation and discounting. A full investment study includes these separately.
